Birthday at the Cinema

In February 2002, for my 16th birthday, my family and I went to the cinema to see 'A Beautiful Mind'. Each year since then, some (or all) of us have made an effort to continue this tradition of celebrating my birthday at the cinema.

What follows is a record of what we saw each year:

Still one of my favourite movies ever!

2003

One Hour Photo
Robin Williams plays a great bad guy, but certain scenes not appropriate for family viewing...

2004

The Passion Of The Christ
Amazing portrayal of the final hours before Jesus' death.

2005

Finding Neverland
A beautiful story.

2006

Firewall
Great thriller! Good to see Harrison Ford back.

2007

Stranger Than Fiction
An alright movie, trailer made it look better though...

2008

Jumper
Good movie, interesting concept.

2009

Ghost Town
Good comedy/feel-good movie. A few adult themes.

2010

Edge Of Darkness
Not a bad movie, but thought it would have been better (based on the trailer).

I Am Number Four
Great sci-fi!

Can't wait to see what the next few years of birthday cinema hold :)
