Movies and Trailers

Since I'm on a roll, I thought I'd start two new categories in my Ponderings blog: Movies and Trailers.

'Movie' posts will be about movies I've recently seen (though don't expect them to be full-fledged reviews), while 'trailer' posts will be about new movie trailers I've just downloaded.

For those of you who don't know, I collect movie trailers. I monitor Apple's Trailers site and download any new trailers I like the look of (either because I'm looking forward to seeing the movie, or because I just like the trailer itself). As of this post, I have 562 trailers in my collection. The vast majority of these are movie trailers, a few are game trailers (Halo, Splinter Cell, etc.) and one is a funny short animation I got off the net.

So, to start off these new categories, here's a list of some of the recent stand-outs from each:
