Transformers 2

I went to see Transformers 2 last night - great movie!

Most movies these days have good special effects, it's practically a given. But it's not often a movie can be described as having good sound effects... The two Transformers movies can be described as such. I don't know what it is that makes the sound effects sound so much better than a typical action movie, but I like it :)

The plot was good, explaining a bit about the Transformers past we didn't know (assuming you've only ever seen the movies), and introducing a bunch of new characters. The soundtrack was good too, using much-loved themes from the original movie along with totally new music. Steve Jablonsky is fast becoming one of my favourite composers. I was surprised to see that Hans Zimmer was the producer, what a team!

Looking forward to Transformers 3!
